Hanuma Seeks Explanation From KVP

Senior congress leader V.Hanumantha rao today demanded an explanation from KVP Ramachandra rao, Rajyahanumantha rao, senior cong.pary leaderSabha MP and a close friend of the late Chief Minister YSR on the allegations made against him by former minister Konda Surekha.

Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, Hanumantha rao said that KVP must give an explanation on the allegations of Surekha that KVP had collected signatures of MLAs soon after the death of YSR without the knowledge of Jagan for making him chief minister.

Hanumantha rao repeated his allegation that Jagan collected the MLAs’ signatures himself even before YSR body was laid to rest. “Since Surekha has revealed that KVP resorted to collecting the signatures with out the knowledge of Jagan, there is a need to know the truth. KVP must give an explanation on this and if he is not giving an explanation, chief minister should order an enquiry to know the truth,” he said.

He said till now they thought that KVP and YSR are one and the same but since the differences have cropped up after 15 months of YSR’s death, the truth should come out and KVP must answer the allegations.

Though Surekha says that she has written the letter and made the allegations against KVP on her own, the letter would not have come out with out the approval of Jagan, he said.
